For these men erect penis size, or more correctly lack of size, is a very serious problem.
A study and report was undertaken by The Kinsey Institute in the early 60's into the average penis size of a man. This information was gathered from US college students of Caucasian origin.
Whilst the data may not be representative of the US male population - restricted to a defined age and ethnic group - it nevertheless enjoys a wide degree of credibility.
But in the absence of information collected by more scientific means, it is still regularly quoted in connection with the subject of penis size. As can be seen from the first table, the most common penis size range amongst the participants is from 5.5" to 6.5 ".
This size range comprised over half those surveyed, whilst over 20% of the men had a penis that was smaller than the lower end of this range.
Looking at the bottom table, the most common girth range is from 4.75" to 5.25". Over 47% of the men who took part in this study had a penis that was thinner than this median range.

As can be seen from the above figures, about 20% of men in a survey have an erect penis length that is less than 5.50 inches. These men may think that their small penis size is unique to them, but this is far from the case. Many men, 1 in 5 from the Kinsey Report, share this problem.
These are most likely to be amongst the men who experience periodic difficulty in sexually satisfying their partner, although men with a penis larger than the average are not immune from this.
